Refund and Returns Policy
Thank you for booking your travel package with GENARSANJAY PRIVATE LIMITED.
This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for all bookings made through genarsanjay.com.
1. Eligibility for Refund
A refund is processed only when:
- A cancellation request is made by the customer as per the Cancellation Policy
- A service or package is cancelled by the Company
- A third-party supplier (hotel/airline/transport provider) approves a refund
Refund amounts depend on the package, booking conditions, and the policies of third-party suppliers.
2. Non-Refundable Items
Certain fees and bookings are strictly non-refundable:
- Visa fees and processing charges
- Service charges and convenience fees
- Flight tickets issued under non-refundable fares
- Peak-season hotel bookings or special promotional fares
- Government entry tickets, activity tickets, and permits
- Payment gateway charges
These cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
3. Refund Amount Calculation
Refunds are calculated after:
- Deducting cancellation charges (as per our Cancellation Policy)
- Deducting supplier penalties (hotels, flights, transport)
- Deducting taxes and non-refundable fees
The final refund amount will be communicated to the customer before processing.
4. Refund Method
- All refunds will be credited only to the original payment method used during booking.
- For payments made via UPI/Net banking/Cards, the refund will go back to the same account.
- No cash refunds are provided.
5. Refund Processing Time
After approval, refunds are processed within:
- 7–21 working days for domestic payments
- 15–30 working days for international payments (if applicable)
- Additional delays may occur due to bank or payment gateway policies
We will notify you once the refund has been initiated.
6. Refunds in Case of Force Majeure
If travel is affected due to events beyond control such as:
- Natural disasters
- Weather disturbances
- Strikes or political unrest
- Epidemics/pandemics
- Government restrictions
Refunds will depend on the rules of hotels, airlines, and other service providers.
Some bookings may only offer rescheduling instead of a refund.
7. No Refund Situations
A customer is not eligible for refund when:
- They fail to appear on the day of travel (“no show”)
- They miss the flight/train/bus due to personal reasons
- They do not carry proper travel documents
- They leave or discontinue the tour voluntarily
- They fail to make the required payment on time
- Services are unused by the customer (meals, transfers, hotel nights, activities, etc.)
8. Refunds for Company-Initiated Cancellations
If GENARSANJAY PRIVATE LIMITED cancels a service due to operational or safety reasons, we may offer:
- A full refund
- A partial refund
- An alternate package of equal value
- A rescheduled date
The option provided will depend on supplier policies and situational factors.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any refund-related disputes will be handled as per Indian laws and fall under the jurisdiction of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
