At GENARSANJAY PRIVATE LIMITED, we aim to provide a smooth and transparent booking experience. This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains the rules and conditions for cancelling travel packages booked through genarsanjay.com.
1. General Cancellation Rules
- All cancellations must be requested by the customer through email or the contact number provided on the website.
- Cancellation charges depend on the travel package, destination, season, and policies of third-party suppliers (hotels, airlines, transport companies, etc.).
- Once a cancellation request is received, our team will verify the booking and confirm applicable charges.
2. Standard Cancellation Charges
Unless a specific package mentions different rules, the following general cancellation charges apply:
- 30 days or more before travel date: Up to 20% of total package cost
- 15–29 days before travel date: Up to 40% of total package cost
- 7–14 days before travel date: Up to 60% of total package cost
- Less than 7 days before travel date: Up to 100% (No refund)
- No-show or failure to start the trip: No refund
Note: Airline tickets, visas, permits, and special bookings may be fully non-refundable depending on supplier rules.
3. Non-Refundable Components
- Flight tickets issued under special fares or non-refundable classes
- Hotel bookings during peak season or festivals
- Visa fees, permits, service charges, and taxes
- Government entry fees or activity tickets purchased in advance
These are non-refundable regardless of when the cancellation occurs.
4. Refund Process
- Eligible refunds (after deducting cancellation charges) will be processed within 7–21 working days.
- Refunds are issued only to the original payment method used during booking.
- Transaction fees charged by payment gateways are non-refundable.
5. Modifications / Date Changes
- Changing travel dates or modifying the itinerary is treated as a cancellation + new booking.
- Additional charges may apply depending on availability and supplier rules.
6. Booking Cancellations by the Company
GENARSANJAY PRIVATE LIMITED may cancel a booking due to:
- Weather issues
- Natural calamities
- Political or safety concerns
- Supplier failure (hotel/airline/transport)
- Operational issues
In such cases, we may offer any of the following:
- A full or partial refund
- An alternative date
- An alternate package of similar value
The decision will be based on the specific situation and supplier policies.
7. Delays, Missed Services & No-Show
No refund is provided if:
- The customer arrives late or misses the flight/train/bus
- The customer fails to provide required travel documents
- The customer voluntarily leaves the tour mid-way
- Services are unused by the customer
8. Special Conditions (COVID-19 or Similar Situations)
In case of government restrictions, lockdowns, or health-related travel bans:
- Refunds depend strictly on airline, hotel, and third-party policies.
- Some bookings may only allow rescheduling instead of refund.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes related to cancellations or refunds will be handled as per Indian law and fall under the jurisdiction of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
